It's written into our Constitution and happens every ten years. It's the Census and it's time again in April 2010 for everyone living in America to stand up and be counted. From the count we learn a great deal about our lifestyles and the way we live in this great country we all call home. This section teachers students about the history and importance of this survey of America.
It is The Economy

Everything we have, use, buy, read, wear or play with relates to economics in some way. The National Council on Economic Education supports 20 standards students must master in order to process economic concepts. This tab explains the standards and enhances them with dynamic NIE activities and a look at the current state of the economy.

Winter Sports 2010 Victory in Vancouver

In February 2010 all eyes will be on Vancouver, Canada and it is time again for the sports competition that only comes around every 4 years. From cool alpine skiing to blazing bobsled to the fine art of figure skating, this section explains each sport in detail. There are learning activities across all content areas, too. It only happens every 4 years so don't miss out.
